How It Works

Adoption Process

Step 1

Get To Know Us!

Our goal is to make your adoption process as easy and enjoyable as possible! We invite you to get to know us and the community of others whom we have helped connect with a beloved puppy. Follow us on Facebook, and Instagram, to learn what we're all about... and see if a Playful Puppy Palace puppy is a great fit for your family.

We try to be responsive as possible to questions about our puppies - don't be afraid to ask questions, or request pictures!

Step 2

Read Our Adoption Agreement & Health Guarantee

We work hard to ensure our pups go to loving homes where they can flourish. Potential puppy parents must read and agree to the terms of our Adoption Agreement & Health Guarantee to be qualified for a puppy. We reserve the right to refuse sales of our pups to puppy mills, families, individuals or any other place that we have suffient reason to believe is not suited as a good home for our pets.

Step 3

Reserve An Available Puppy Or Litter

We require a nonrefundable deposit down on all puppies or a spot in line to choose from an upcoming litter. Your deposit will be credited towards the total puppy purchase price. Of course we cannot guarantee that a certain color or gender of puppy will be born in the litter you are eyeing up, but we will do our best to meet your needs. The final payment on your pup will be due at pickup, and we will be in touch to schedule a pickup date!

For upcoming litters: When you place a deposit on an upcoming litter, you reserve your spot in line to choose a puppy. For example, if you are the 2nd person to place a deposit on a litter, you will be 2nd in line to choose from the available puppies.

For individual puppies: If there are any puppies left after the reservations list has chosen, they are listed individually on the website. Each puppy is listed with his or her price on the website. You are welcome to select the puppy you want, and place a deposit to reserve it as yours! We will be in touch with you to discuss a pickup date, and answer any questions you might have. Full payment is expected on the day of the pickup. Contact us if you need help.

Step 4

Choosing And Pickup Of Your New Family Member!

For upcoming litters: Choosing your puppy happens once they reach 5 – 6 weeks old. Each person gets from 24 to 48 hours to choose their puppy through videos, pictures, video calls, or a visit.  We will coordinate that with you, after you’ve placed your deposit.

For individual puppies: You may choose your puppy and place your deposit on our website. We’ll provide videos / pics on request, and are here to help you choose the right one!

Pickup: Few things are as exciting as going to pick up your pup! Pickup day comes once your pup has reach a minimum of eight weeks old. We are located on a private residence near Augusta WV. We’ll coordinate the time and address in advance so you can make plans as needed.
