Meet Corkie!
She is ready for adoption! Spayed, clean dental check, just got her three year rabies vaccine done, and up to date on her five way vaccines.
Corkie is a gentle sweetheart. She is calm and mellow, without a crazy amount of energy. She is smart and eager to please. She behaves like an angel for baths, blow dry, and nail trims. Doesn’t mind being handled all over, so she’s the perfect family pet! She is AKC registered and comes with registration and her pedigree.
She is not perfectly house trained, but with a week or two of dedicated time, she would pick it up quickly. Loads and unloads herself into the backseat of a car and travels wonderfully.
Corkie does only have four teeth, but she does make out fairly well with dry kibble. Her new family might wish to switch her over to soft food which she absolutely would love.
I have sunk nearly $1500 into her to get her ready for retirement. I’m not asking anything close to that to cover the costs. I’m simply asking $250 (comparable to what a shelter would ask) to weed out the non serious families.
We do have ground transport options for the northeast US areas.
